Dr. Daniel Davids DPT
Dr. Daniel Davids, PT is a Queens native with an interesting backstory. Prior to becoming a Physical Therapist, Daniel was a professional wrestler! With his long blue hair and zebra stripe print tights, he traveled the northeast slamming foes and jumping off the top rope!
He has since decided that rehabbing injuries is a better lifestyle than causing them …from a karma standpoint anyway.
Dr. Davids majored in Health Science Education at SUNY Cortland where he received the coveted “Ross L. Allen Award” that is given to one student per graduating class for excellence in his field and showing joie de vivre in his day to day life.
He earned his doctorate at Stony Brook University as the first year president of his class.
Since practicing, Daniel has found a special interest in patients with chronic and stubborn pain issues that he enjoys figuring out the root cause and providing new and multifactorial treatment.
When not helping out his community, Dan can be found with his family (His wife Laura and their two kids- Charlotte and Zachary). They love to travel, exercise together, bake, play board games, renovate, and go swimming in their pool.
Dr. Davids currently needs to stop purchasing so much junk on Amazon

(He/Him/His)
DACM, L.Ac
Dr. Dean Monitto, DACM, L.Ac. is a licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine with over 22 years of clinical experience. His work blends classical Eastern medicine with modern, practical strategies for pain relief, recovery, and long-term resilience.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Long Island University, a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine, and a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Dr. Monitto is also a Certified American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Instructor.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Monitto has served as a professor and clinical director at both the Florida College of Integrative Medicine and the New York College of Health Professions, helping to train and mentor the next generation of practitioners.
Along with a full-time clinical practice, Dr. Monitto spent ten years as an EMT with the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps, where he was twice elected to the Board of Directors. He also served as a Nassau County Lifeguard for nine years. These experiences shaped a calm, safety-focused, and decisive approach that continues to inform his clinical care.
Dr. Monitto specializes in chronic pain, sports-related injuries, women’s health, fertility support, menopause-related symptoms, menstrual concerns, stress, anxiety, insomnia, and allergies. His treatments are individualized, outcome-focused, and designed to help patients move, function, and live better.
He especially enjoys working with people who have decided that their optimal health begins and ends with the person they see in the mirror — patients who are ready to take responsibility, stay curious, and actively participate in their own healing process.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Monitto is a third-degree black belt in Krav Maga, a lifelong martial artist, and a motorcycle enthusiast — experiences that reinforce his respect for discipline, preparedness, and the importance of keeping the body resilient in real-world conditions. Most importantly, he is a happy husband and proud father, roles that keep his work grounded in what truly matters.
His philosophy is straightforward: the body is not broken — it adapts. When given the right signals, support, and consistency, it has an incredible capacity to heal, regulate, and perform. Treatment should empower patients, not make them dependent.
Patients often appreciate Dr. Monitto’s depth of experience, direct communication style, and ability to bridge ancient medical principles with the real demands of modern life.
